🐶English Fun Day -Kei Hin Zoo🐱
Today, we visited SKH Kei Hin Primary School to take part in their English activity day. We got to see and interact with the pets. Also, we played a variety of engaging English games, which the students and their parents introduced during the show and tell session. This was a novel and enriching learning experience for all of us!
🏤The Visit of the “Hong Kong Heritage Museum”
Today, K3 students visited the “Hong Kong Heritage Museum”📘, where we learned a lot about traditional Chinese culture. We got to see and appreciate a wide variety of unique porcelains, sculptures, Cantonese operas artifacts, etc. Other than that, we also learned about the different types of vintage Hong Kong gadgets from the past🧸🪆. These precious exhibits opened our eyes to the diverse traditional Chinese culture. 👀
🔍Programming and science activity experience💕
Today, we visited SKH Kei Lok Primary School to participate in programming and science activities. We played with Blue-bot and built a magnetic car all by ourselves. It was a very enjoyable experience! Parents can learn more about the school through lectures, and they are also welcome to tour the campus and familiarize themselves with the learning environment of the primary school.
🌳Junior Kindergarten students to the Lions Club Nature Education ation Center🌾
🦋Today our junior kindergarten students took a field trip to the “Lions Club Nature Education Center” together. We went to the farmland to see the green and bounty crops. There were so many varieties, such as peppers, watermelons, roselles, etc. We also scarecrows guarding the crops! After the farmland, we then visited the 🐠Fish Museum, 🌽Farm Museum and 🐚Shell Museum. This fruitful field trip opened our eyes and we are looking forward to our next visit.
🛒Kindergarten supermarket shopping😊👍🏻
🌈The K2 and K3 students often go out for trips like these. And now, it’s K1s turn. They went shopping in the supermarket. The teachers introduced us to the different kinds of goods and how to follow certain shopping etiquette. We went through the shop and searched for the goods we needed according to the shopping list, and also learned how to use the self-service payment machine to pay for the items. It was a pleasant learning experience🍅🍇.
🚒The Visit of the Kowloon Bay Fire Station🛻
This was an exciting and special experience! The teachers took us to visit the Kowloon Bay Fire Station🚨. A group of enthusiastic and professional firefighters introduced us to different fire types of trucks, firefighter’s special clothing, equipment and tools. They even picked up the fire hose to simulate how they would operate it during an actual fire. It was very unforgettable. ! 🧯
🌈The Visit of the Hong Kong🦆Wetland Park and Ping Shan Heritage Trail🌳
🌿Our K3 students visited the Hong Kong Wetland Park to learn about Hong Kong’s wetland ecology. We saw some crocodile hatchlings 🐊, some fiddler crabs🦀, beetles🐞, and also saw different kinds of plants☘, which were very educational and interesting😆 It really helped us learn to get in touch with nature.
🎀We went to a restaurant for some delicious snacks at noon, and then went to the Ping Shan Heritage Trail and the Star Tower🕍 to admire Hong Kong’s more than 600-year-old monuments. This trip was very rich and we were very happy 😊
🎹🎼The “Baby Jazz World” concert🎤
The teachers took us to the Kwai Tsing Theater to enjoy a jazz concert. It was very exciting. We transformed into elephants, giraffes, zebras and frogs, and immersed into the African savanna together. We sang and danced to a ton of well-known children’s songs, more jazz songs and original songs as well. It was a truly unique and unforgettable experience! 😊
